Beauxoxo Oh Me Oh My Liverpool SS17 Lookbook

Oh HELLO dearest ones....where on EARTH have I been eh?! Somewhere feeling pretty unmotivated that's where. I'm kind of ashamed to say that I've spent the first week of 2017 feeling every bit of the January blues and, coupled with a nasty virus, I just haven't felt my sparkly self. I really didn't want to project that negative energy online but I'm finally feeling very ready to be back and today I have the SS17 Beauxoxo lookbook to show you: something I'm very excited about indeed!

I'm delighted to announce my new SS17 collection for Beauxoxo shot at the lovely vintage inspired tea rooms Oh Me, Oh My in Liverpool. This place is just so dreamy that it deserves a post dedicated to simply showing you how lovely it is. Hopefully you can see from the video how beautiful it is alone, and how gorgeous is the rose drink?! I mean rose lemonade with actual rose petals if all the blogger photography/photoshoot goals. I'll have the post up very soon!

For this latest collection of spring and summer inspired hair accessories I picked fabrics that blended with our beautiful surroundings from pretty vintage florals to kitsch strawberry and cherry pin-up girl prints to delectable macaron and patisserie designs. This time last year I shot my SS16 collection at the Tea Parlour in Liverpool and that had a very similar aesthetic as I just adore that whole 1950s/1960s vintage look and it's something I adore re-creating. It's also always such a joy to work in Liverpool with my incredible team, and we're definitely making our way through the whimsy, afternoon tea spots in Liverpool that's for sure!

I really hope you love everything as much as I did creating it. It feels really, really good to be back here again. I say this every year but I REALLY want to blog more and create more content. I'm not going to force myself to stick to an impossible schedule but just knowing I've missed it means I still have that drive to stop and just write and document things that really mean a lot to me.

And so a huge thank you so much for your continued love and support. I can't begin to tell you how much that keeps me going!
