I really love the Kanako illustration to open the box and the words match the image so beautifully. Kanako's work is so special and brings the magic together.
'Tis the season to eat, drink and be merry and My Little Box have definitely incorporated that festive tradition into their Christmas Box with one food item and one tea.
First up is a Salted Caramel Spread from Tiptree. Whilst this sounds incredible due to my dairy allergy this a total no go for me....but I'm so used to not being able to have certain treats so that's totally fine! I'm well aware Tiptree are a really fantastic brand so if you can have this I'm sure you'll say it's delicious! I am going to donate this to a friend or family member but if you're reading this with a full craving for a Salted Caramel Spread leave a comment below and I would love to send it to a loving home!
And to go with the spread there's a tea from Kusmi Tea, a luxury tea company from Paris with a fascinating Russian history as well. The company have recently celebrated their 150 year anniversary and this tea celebrates this (I highly recommend reading their amazing story to date here). Their 'Tsarevna ' tea is a blend of black teas, orange and spices and apparently one of Kusmi Tea's most iconic recipes. The packaging is stunning and so luxurious and I'm already a huge, huge fan of the brand. I highly recommend a visit to one of their shops if you get a chance. It's a tea heaven! Ultimately, I'm still more of a green tea girl myself, but I'm really excited to try this black tea curled up with a book or magazine over the Christmas break.
The next item smells so good you really could eat it but as it's a gingerbread candle I'd recommend you don't! But this candle just smells divine. It truly does smell of gingerbread biscuits fresh from the oven. If you love the gorgeous Zoella Beauty 'Bake My Day' fragrance you will adore this I promise! And the packaging looks so expensive and easily impressive enough to rival any candle brand around. I'm excited to have this in the background for all my Christmas activities!
The final lifestyle item is a bracelet from the French company Lou Yetu. I've never heard of the brand before and that's why it's so wonderful to be introduced to them by My Little Box. Their collection is absolutely amazing, with dainty pieces to bold bangles like the above. I'm more a fan of the dainty creations but this is so easy to wear and style. I'll most definitely be checking out more of the designs online and they are really reasonably priced.
Next up is a Palmer's Creamy Coconut lip balm. Design wise this has a EOS lip balm look about it, but what I already love about the Palmer's lip balm is that it is free from petrolatum and parabens. For a highstreet brand that's really excellent indeed and the quirky packaging is fun to keep in your handbag for application on the go.
Finally a gorgeous mini scent from the french brand Courreges. In the Christmas edition of My Little Box the included scent was 'Hyperbole' a simply delicious blend of tobacco flower, tonka bean, patchouli, bergamot essence, white pepper, cocoa and vanilla. Together they make up a perfume that is sweet but so dark and bold at the same time. It's heavy in the best way and the scent develops throughout the day so towards the evening I was left with the beautiful scent of tonka bean and vanilla: two of my favourite ingredients ever. I'm going to save this and take it on a travelling adventure but I love it so much I'd for sure be tempted to treat myself to a full-size bottle in the future!
******And that's Christmas all unwrapped! I truly adored this box. It made me feel so snug and festive and I haven't had that feeling until then. If you want to see the box on their website head here, and if you're interested to see what other My Little Boxes look like take a little trip down memory lane if you please with my previous posts right here.
