The first item underneath the wonderful Albert Einstein quote (one of my favourites, actually) and the 'My Little World' Magazine was a bag of little tech jewllery beads. The idea is that you adorn them to your earphones, or similar, and it not only adds a quirky style statement, but it also helps them become less tangled. I've noticed a little bit of complaints online about these; with the majority thinking they look a tad tacky. I'm on the fence with this. On the one hand they do remind me of something I would have enjoyed as a very young child, but on the other hand I can't help but think they are quite sweet really! I guess that's the eternal child in me ;).
The last lifestyle this month is a lovely big canvas bag with the My Little Box logo on one side with a 'Collect moments not things' quote on the reverse. It has a lovely peach and black polka dot print that is certain to go with pretty much everything. With the recent 5p plastic bag charge in the UK I can see this being very timely! It will definitely go in my car and used for post runs, food shopping and more. It's always great to have a few of these!
I absolutely adore the beauty items this month! Whilst I wouldn't necessary think of them as 'creative' they are indeed very beautiful in their scents and packaging. My favourite of all is a body cream from Baija called 'Crème Moana Fleur de Tiaré'. (retails for £12.90). It smells exactly like a tropical paradise, and it contains cupuacu butter, shea butter, coconut oil, beeswax and jojoba to make your skin feel silky soft. It really does smell so wonderful, with the perfect perfume blend of floral and exotic, and once I use this up I need to have a serious browse of everything Baija do.
Next up is a Laino Exfoliant Gel with a delicious apple scent. I can't find a price for this, but from my dodgy French translation skills (pah, I try!) on their website I can tell you that it is 95% natural, removes impurities without drying out the skin and that it leaves the skin looking refined, soft, soothed and moisturised. I have yet to try this but it smells so wonderful I want to eat it!
Finally there's a beauty item called 'My Little Corner' called 'Creme Minuit (Cream Midnight)' (worth about £12) which is a face moisturiser that soothes the skin with wheat proteins, nourishes with shea butter and protects it with cranberry oil and spirulina. I haven't actually tried this so I'll let you know if I like it but it seems to me that it's the perfect night time cream. I just hope it's not too heavy for my combination/sensitive skin.
