My Little Gypset Box, My Little Box August 2015 and Giveaway

Just before the summer ends I so wanted to share August's My Little Box which this month is titled, 'My Little Gypset Box'. The base of the box describes a Gypset as:

Gypset - (adj) Someone with a passionate soul, an adventurous mind and a bohemian nature.

And so this month, this box contains a gorgeous selection of cosmetic and lifestyle items that are for the free spirit, the frequent traveler and for summer wandering. Let's reveal...

Lifestyle
I really love the lifestyle items this month. Firstly, there's a copy of the 'My Little World' magazine which contains a hair wrap tutorial and a gorgeous boho fashion spread so it's perfect for the Gypset theme. Next up is pretty much the star of the box: a gorgeous Antik Batik bag. This would be the perfect bag for a festival. It's very small and has a drawstring attachment so it's not the most secure bag around, but I plan on keeping it in my handbag if I go shopping as it's perfect for bits and bobs.

The next up are some hair ties come bracelets. Obviously because I make hair accessories I don't tend to buy others as I just make what I need, but I see these hair ties everywhere! The print on them is ever so boho, and they are of a good quality, with thick and strong rings that make them ideal for many different hair types. Sometimes hair ties are far too tight to place on your wrist, so I think having these in your handbag could come in ever so handy!

Beauty

The beauty items this month are lovely- even though just one is a miss! First up is Korre's Bergamot Pear Body Milk. This is so beautiful! It feels ever so nourishing and yet has a unique powdery finish. It contains a variety of skin-loving ingredients such as provitamin B5, Shea butter and Jojoba oil, Active Aloe and is rich in vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and antioxidant enzymes. I might seriously have to consider getting another of these when I run out.

Next up is My Little Beauty Bronzing Powder Summer Caresse. Whilst I personally don't like wearing bronzer because I am so pale but I think many will love this! The packaging is lovely and if it's anything like other My Little Beauty items it will be a fantastic product as well. Because I have no use for it, I want one of you to have it. Check the end of the post for the giveaway.

Finally my favourite item from this box: a So Susan Colour Hybrid Lip and Cheek Cream Souffle. This is such a pretty cream-mousse in a deep Marsala red shade that I think would suit a variety of skin tones. It's formulated with Organic Sacha Inchi oil to help soothe and plump lips, with Jasmine extract to soften and calm irritated chapped skin. Even better it has no Phthalates, no Parabens and the brand don't test on animals- huge yay! I can't wait to wear this more and I'll be sure to swatch it soon. It would be perfect for travelling and it's so versatile.

This box truly captured the Gypset spirit and it contains a variety of lovely items as usual. But how did you like the box? I cannot wait for autumnal and winter boxes from My Little Box!

GIVEAWAY: I'd love for one of you to have my bronzer because I have no use for it and I know one of you will! So to enter, simply leave a comment below telling me your favourite summer memory (or your winter memory for my southern hemisphere readers). If you could also leave a contact email/Twitter handle that would be great. The giveaway will end Wednesday 2nd September 11pm. Good luck!

xoxo

  19. My favourite childhood memories of summer are from my Dad's allotment. He grew every type of fruit and vege and we would often go down to the site to help. The sky would always be blue and full of skylark song. I would eat strawberries warm from the sun and fresh from the plant and even chew on sticks of sour rhubarb too. One summer we dug a well and attached a pump, I was fascinated by the cool fresh water that came out of a hole in the ground and loved watering the greenhouse tomatoes,of course back then it was sunny every day!
