'I Scream Nails' was founded by Celia Cecchi in August 2012 in the beautiful Australia. After making a mark on Melbourne's nail art scene 'I Scream Nails' set up a pop up salon in a fashion store called Lupa Clothing. After a very successful four week stint at Lupa Clothing, the salon quickly turned into a full time gig and 'I Scream Nails' quickly became Australia's most in demand nail art team.
The following year in September 2013 'I Scream Nails' opened their first permanent salon in the heart of Collingwood, Melbourne and in October 2014, 'I Scream Nails' branched out and launched their first Sydney Salon in Newtown, whilst also providing event services and pop up salons all around Sydney.
I heard about the brand from the lovely Lady Petrova (PS: Aussie friends, get your Beauxoxo from here too!) and I instantly wanted them all. At the time of browsing her website just one shade was in stock called 'Sunny Boy' which as you can see is a bright, very vivivd, playful neon orange. I do love my oranges with my red hair and I just knew this would be my perfect summer shade. The colour applied effortlessly and the colour is really so gorgeous. The brush isn't too thick, and yet not too thin, it's just the right size for adding precision to your nail polish application making for an easy, flawless result. And can we talk about the bottle?! Because yes it is absolutely adorable and I'm so in love with it! I mean it's nail polish shaped and designed like an ice cream- brilliant!
The nail polishes are about $15 which works out at £8 and something I think is highly reasonable and that makes it on par with Nicole by OPI, Essie and more. But wait you haven't heard the best of it yet because 'I Scream Nails' are: 100% Vegan, Free of Toluene, DBP, Camphor, Formaldehyde and Formaldehyde Resin AND the brand do not test on animals. So basically perfect!
'I Scream Nails' are also nail art wizards and if you want to see how to create gorgeous, intricate art on your nails be sure to look at their Youtube tutorials.
For more information on 'I Scream Nails' head to their website here and to Lady Petrova here. I now face the dilemma of which shade to get next!
Have any of you heard of 'I Scream Nails' before? If so, what colours do you own and what's your favourite shade?
