The French Riviera is actually somewhere I will be fortunate enough to visit again this summer, and ever since I was a little girl, it's a part of the world I've always loved dearly. In France of course it translate to the infamous, The Côte d'Azur, but here my Little Box have used the French Riviera term which is how it translates into English.
The Côte d'Azur is the Mediterranean coastline of the southeast corner of France, also including the sovereign state of Monaco. There is no official boundary, but it is usually considered to extend from the Italian border (Italian Riviera) in the east to Saint-Tropez, Hyères, Toulon, or Cassis in the west.
There was a very quirky lifestyle item this month in the form of these cute planter duos designed by Kanako, who you may know as the illustrator for My Little Box. Now I'm not going to lie: I'm not really a plant/flower kind of girl so I'm not going to use these planters in a conventional way, but maybe a makeup brush holder, clips, pencils, pens and so much more- the options are truly endless. They're so different whilst not my obvious choice, it's lovely to have something so different sometimes.
To prep your skin for the Riviera sunshine you get a Marine Scrub Salt treat from My Little Box's range 'My Little Corner'. I'm hoping this works on my sensitive skin as it has such a fresh, summery scent.
The last item is Kerastase's Ciment Thermique which is a blow drying thermal treatment. This blow-dry milk product aims to resurface and strengthen damaged and brittle hair, offering a healthy dose of heat protection along the way. I've never been a huge fan of Kerastase's ethics so I have passed this to my Mum and she's very grateful!
Thanks to this gorgeous box I already feel like I've had a blissful escape to the French Riviera already and so I'm even more excited to go now! How about you? What did you make of My Little Box this month?
