If you go down to Bournemouth beach today, you'll be sure of a big surprise....in the form of Cath Kinston beach huts! Doesn't that sound just too dreamy to be true? Well it's true, it really is, and I had the pleasure of witnessing them myself yesterday.
Cath Kinston currently have an on going campaign titled #RandomActsofKidston as a way of brightening up peoples’ day through the power of beautiful prints. A similar campaign included telephone boxes in Kingston covered in a sweet spot print. Cath Kinston are of course so loved for their very British, kitsch, pretty prints, and so this summer they have decided to brighten up Bournemouth Beach with five beautifully decorated beach huts which are covered in their current Spring designs: Clouds, River Fish, Paradise Fields, and two classic prints Antique Rose and Button Spot.
Throughout the day yesterday, I was very kindly invited to view the beach huts yesterday along with my fellow other lovely Bournemouth bloggers including Brogan, Tamsin and Rosie. Being a huge Cath Kinston fan for so long, and a lover of their pretty floral prints, I instantly fell in love! Each design is so gorgeous, and creates such an individual statement and place along the sea front. It's lovely to have prints such as River Fish and Clouds which completely blend into the seaside scenery, and the mix with the classic Cath Kinston prints is perfect for the British seaside town of Bournemouth which balances a rich, old history with emerging modern innovation.
The beach huts are numbered 2368-2372 and can be found incredibly easily, even if you're not familiar with the area. If you head to Harry Ramsden's on the sea front, walk down the steps and along the front, heading towards the rainbow beach huts, trust me, you'll spot them! And if you fall head over heels in love, Bournemouth Tourism has confirmed that they are available to hire which is fantastic news! For more information on the hire of the Cath Kidston print beach huts, call into Bournemouth Seafront Office, on Undercliff Drive, or alternatively you can call them on 01202 451781.
A huge thank you to Cath Kinston's loveliest PR team in the world, and in particular Emma, for inviting me down to see the beautiful beach huts. And a huge thank you for the most wonderful goody bag that truly overwhelmed me! It contained so many wonderful things from the new collection including: A Clouds Shawl, Clouds Travel Wallet, Button Spot Rucksack, River Fish Cosmetic Bag, Paradise Flowers Flask and a Paradise Field Box. I am a very lucky girl, and I cannot wait to feature them on my blog throughout the summer.
The Cath Kidston Beach Huts will be getting very cosy in their spots until September so it will be so lovely to see them grace Bournemouth's seafront all throughout the summer period. Are any of you from Bournemouth and able to see some? (if so HI!). If you're not from Bournemouth, do you think you might want to visit them? If you're too far from Bournemouth don't forget you can shop Cath Kinston online and to find your nearest store head to their store finder.
