Because it's the very last day of 2014 I wanted to finish the year off with my very favourite planner of all. It's called 'Your Best Year 2015: Productivity Workbook and Creative Planner' and it's by Lisa Jacobs from the amazing Market Your Creativity. I used it last year and it honestly really transformed my organisation skills. In a nutshell, it's a workbook that guides you through the process of really defining what your most important goals are and in turn, determining the steps you need to take to get there. It's primarily aimed at those who may have a small, or creative business like myself but I actually think it does more than that. It's incredibly motivational and encourages you to take a good hard look at what you need to do, and what you need to stop doing to get where you want to be. It makes you think really openly and critically at what you achieved the previous year, what you want to get out of the year coming, and what changes you need to make to achieve your goals.
2014 was personally a very challenging year for me, but I am proud nonetheless that I managed to keep everything going (somewhat!) other than launching Little Beauxoxo. But the latter is my number one goal this 2015 year, and I'm still really proud of everything else I achieved from the goals set in my planner last year. I don’t bother with resolutions so much, but I do believe in setting goals at the start of the year. Tomorrow I want to sit down with my planner and look at what's working, what's not, and where I want to go to realise my own dreams. Lisa makes you look at everything from your finances, has a monthly goal sheet and a daily planner too which I swear by. It's also really fun to use, I promise! I love getting my most favourite colourful pens and just getting stuck in.
And again, because it's the last day of 2014, I also want to say the biggest THANK YOU, with all my heart, for the kindness and support you have shown me throughout a difficult year. I’ve truly never, ever needed it more. 2014 definitely made me realise how lucky I am to have such an incredible network around me. So whatever 2015 may have in store for you, listen to the voice within at all times, and follow your heart. Corny, but oh so true ;).
If you have any goals for 2015, let me know pretty please? Do you have a planner you love to use? If you want to grab a copy of Lisa's Creative Business Planner, you can easily download it as well as purchase it in print. For just $10 which is roughly £7 it's an incredible bargain.
