On Thursday I spent a very lovely afternoon with the sweetest Paige and Ailera for a new Beauxoxo autumn/winter look book. Our day involved the prettiest surroundings of Sloane Square and therefore I feel this look book could be described as 'Autumn in Belgravia'. Because of such prettiness, many, many photos just had to be taken, of course! So, join me for some unashamedly girlyness!
Something I have seen do the blogging rounds for a while now is the ever so charming Peggy Porschen cupcake shop. This is set in the gorgeous Belgravia surroundings amidst pretty flower boxes and streets and streets of lush old Victorian houses that Paige, Ailera and I couldn't help but drool over! I mean truly to own one of these gorgeous homes would just be wonderful, would it not?! You really feel like you're in the heart of London's old charm, but quiet enough to feel totally removed from the hustle and bustle of the big city.
The theme for my photo shoot was some new Pom Pom headbands I've been working on for a while now. This pastel Pom Pom Headband is incredibly popular and so I wanted to expand the range with other fun colours. Paige was the perfect model for this look book (you've probably spotted Paige as a Beauxoxo model before!). Not only is she the cutest thing in the world, but she's just the sweetest girl you could ever hope to meet. She has such a warm heart, is incredibly loyal and basically I think everyone needs a Paige in their life! I am so happy that through blogging and through Beauxoxo we were able to meet. We are so incredibly similar. I totally get her, and I know she gets me too so it was such a treat to work with her on this look book. Oh and if you haven't already, check out Paige's illustrations because she's ridiculously talented!
I had the great fortune of working with the wonderful Ailera Stone in May this year, and as soon as I got the photos back I just knew she had to become a Beauxoxo regular! She has a style of photography that is so dreamy you want to actually live in what she captures. For me, this is the sign of a very magical artist indeed! And I too just knew that the combination of both Paige and Ailera could be something truly magical!
So all in all a lovely day was had in the beautiful Belgravia and I am definitely left feeling like this is a part of London I want to explore so much more. It really is a dream. And thank you so much to the lovely girls at Peggy Porschen for allowing us to use your beautiful cupcake shop. You deserve a post just about you, so this will follow! And when I have the photos for this look book be assured I'll blog them in all their beauty :).
Do any of you know Belgravia well? Let me know your favourite spots.
