NOTD: 'Sweet Daisy' Carrie Underwood for Nicole by OPI

Hands up Carrie Underwood fans, I see you! I have loved Carrie Underwood from her very first American Idol audition and I have been a fan ever since. I wouldn't say I'm a true country girl by heart, but I became extremely fascinated with the genre of country music when I visited Nashville a few years ago. I have also loved OPI for a long time, but the Nicole by OPI range is still very new to me. I'm not 100% sure on the actual difference between Nicole OPI and normal OPI (other than I think Nicole by OPI is more of a drugstore range, versus the salon home of OPI?!), but I thought picking up a few of the Carrie Underwood shades would be a great way to test the range.

I picked up four of the Carrie Underwood nail polishes on my trip to Liverpool (little haul right here for you) earlier this year because I love their Superdrug, and also because it has a huge Nicole by OPI stand. I picked up 'Some Hearts' a girly pink, 'Southern Charm' a lush nude, 'Party Bus' a playful silver glitter and the above close up, 'Sweet Daisy' a perfect peach. It's that pretty, nude and charming shade which will look amazing on fair or tanned skins, in spring, summer, autumn or winter. It's not too over the top at all, and wearable for just about everyone. Just like OPI it applies like a dream, dries quickly and is lasting such a long time. I think I have officially found a new nail brand obsession here! I know for sure the Nicole range is marketed as being more budget friendly, but it certainly doesn't feel it at all.

Check out the Carrie Underwood for Nicole by OPI collection here or click here to purchase 'Sweet Daisy' and the other shades directly from Superdrug. Even better, these gorgeous polishes are just £7.99 and there's currently a 3 for 2 deal, so it's easy to collect them all really ;). Has anyone else picked up a shade from this collection? And for all my Nicole by OPI fans, what shades do I need please?

xoxo

  1. I am monumentally crap with nail varnish, but the Nicole varnishes have actually allowed me to paint my nails in a decent manner! The quick-dry top coat is brilliant and you only need one coat of the actual colour, so even I struggle to chip or smudge it. I'm going to have to find that colour - I love a good peachy coral!
