Last month I had two wonderful photo shoots for Beauxoxo in one of my favourite cities, Liverpool. Come with me on my Liverpool adventures after the page cut :)
So tonight I posted my Liverpool video on Youtube (which should hopefully magically appear above) and I just wanted to pop up this post with some extra little photos. I went to Liverpool at the very end of last month to not only take part in these photo shoots but also to just have some downtime with my family who live near. I always feel a huge sense of peace up in North, I don't know, but it always does me the power of good!
So both photo shoots, for Beauxoxo of course, we just had to incorporate the history that makes Liverpool such a fascinating, and unique city. The Thursday photo shoot Kane, Abigail and I were blessed with gloriously sunny, spring weather so we started at the much loved Cavern Club in Matthew Street, of course home to the start of Beatlemania, and we then made our way to the historic Docks. This photo shoot was all about my fabric pieces, and the styling was a throw-back to the 50s, with perfect victory rolls created by the wonderful Zahra, and with modern pin-up girl make up to match.
On the Friday it was all about turban headbands and hair jewellery pieces with Beth and Rebecca. We headed back to the Cavern club because I just can't get enough of this backdrop, and because we had such a contrast with the weather, where we were greeted by showers and grey skies, we retreated into the entrance of Lennon's bar, which in the end turned out to be an amazing setting. We then legged it down to the Docks where the moody esque skies actually created some of the most stunning, stunning photos.
I had such a wonderful time photo shooting my collections in Liverpool and it's absolutely something I want to do again. Because my website is under going a new look you can currently shop this collection on my Etsy Boutique. I just want to thank my incredible team Kane, Rebecca, Zahra, Abigail and Beth. You were all such an utter joy to work with and you made my Liverpool photo shoot experience something to treasure.
