You're invited to come and explore Dorset with me :)
One of my very favourite spots in Dorset is Wimborne, a little market town to the east of the county with a population of about 15,000. The town is framed by the beautiful Wimborne Minster; a Saxon Church, with stunning Norman and Gothic architecture. Just opposite the Minster lies the sweetest, most charming little cafe called 'On The Green'. The building for starters would draw anyone in and no doubt has a fascinating history and once inside the cosy, homely surroundings to make for a lovely atmosphere. The menu is truly delicious with everything to tempt you from a full English breakfast, to tapas on certain evenings to mouthwatering cakes and pastries which you can also find gluten free too. You can even go especially fancy like me with sardines and lemon on toast with roasted veg so you can treat yourself and be healthy here!
If I ever want to gather my thoughts this is the perfect place to do so with two floors so you can hide upstairs should you wish surrounded by beautiful embroidery cushions and old classic books. And when you're ready to leave you can head home with some lush home locally cooked bread, should you wish!
If any of you happen to head to Wimborne then this is definitely worth a visit and to their sister restaurant No.9 which I also highly recommend. You can visit their website right here if you fancy a visit.
I hope you liked the start to my 'Exporing Dorset'. If you have any specific requests, let me know :).
