Happy New Year

I cannot believe a year ago now I composed a little message to you all and now 2013 is closed and the 2014 book begins.

First of all as I always, always say but can never say enough: THANK YOU! Thank you just so, very, VERY much from the bottom of my heart, even though I know the phrase is used so much (I was never good with words!). But I truly want to express how much your support and your friendship this year has quite simply been overwhelming, in the most wonderful, most incredible way. I cannot believe how lucky I am to have you all in my life and supporting this journey I am on. Your tweets, your messages here, your emails, and for reading my rambles on this space in the blogosphere just mean the world and beyond to me. There will never be words that fully sum up just how thankful I am. You have no idea how much your kindness brightens my day. And like I always, always say my thankfulness is perpetual and your support, encouragement, and friendship is everything. Absolutely everything.

And so I am wishing every single one of you a 2014 filled with magic, dreams and joy. I hope somewhere in the next year you surprise yourself in what you can achieve. For me, this past year and a bit has taught me that when you start to figure out what you want in life there will be obstacles. I have been very open about the fact that I struggle with getting my head around running a business, my passion is crafting, and I have made mistakes, but you mustn't let those mistakes, anyone or anything that discourages you from continuing on. Believe in yourself and believe in your decisions. And no matter what, stay positive (and this comes from a half empty kinda girl!) and keep moving forward. Even though I can be an awful negative so-and-so I am strangely proud of what I have achieved this year and I am excited about what I have planned for the next year. I still cannot believe that my little blog was nominated for both the Company and Cosmopolitan Blog Awards this year and also for having two of my DIYs in print. The latter two achievements are still absolutely mind blowing and never in a million years did I think this time last year I would be living this dream and have absolutely spurred me on to more with my blog and that is very much a huge goal for 2014.

Have a wonderful evening seeing in the New Year whatever your plans are, or whatever they were for my International friends! Thank you so, so much again and I really do send my love to you all for 2014.

Love and best wishes,
Georgie xoxo
