body fantasies cotton candy body spray review
In my recent October favourites blog post I mentioned this out-of-this-world sweet cotton candy body spray, and it now definitely deserves to steal all the limelight with its sweetest scent and adorably crafted packaging!

As I said in my favourites post, do any of you own Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album? If you do, you'll know that the booklet smells like sweet cotton candy, mmmm, pause on that if you will! And now imagine, then, if you can, a body spray that smells just as sweet and delicious: yep, enter Body Fantasies Cotton Candy body spray! This little pink bottle of pure joy is my absolute obsession right now. I cannot remember for the life of me where I spotted this but it may have been something related to Hyper Japan.

In essence this is pure cotton candy scent goodness. Imagine everything sweet, sugary and pink and this conjures up the scent perfectly. In fact, Katy Perry herself sums up this fragrance! If you are a LUSH Snow Fairy fan you absolutely need this body spray in your life because you will adore it.

Whilst this fragrance is sweet what I love most is that it isn't too sweet. I actually think Snow Fairy is possibly more overpowering when comparing the intensity of sweet smells! You know that lovely soft candyfloss smell, or that candy/sweet store smell? That pretty much encapsulates how Body Fantasies created this one. When you first spritz it on you get a huge overpowering sweetness and at first I thought with asthma sensitive to overpowering scents what a mistake I had made, however within a few mere seconds the scent settled to a very soft, warm sweetness that lasts throughout the day but isn't too intense whatsoever, with notes of vanilla, sugar, raspberry, strawberry and musk quietly coming out to play.

I find fragrance posts so difficult to write because scent it's hard to pin down in words but if you like sweet fragrances I couldn't recommend this more highly. Overall it's a very playful scent, living up to the fluorescent pink colour, and sweet turquoise fairy bottle top (can we just stop to admire the oh-so-perfectly cute packaging?! Perfection!) but it's also extremely fresh and comforting.

The downside of everything above is that I am unaware of any stores that stock Body Fantasies body sprays. I however got this bottle from Fragrance X for £4.10 right here, and a little 50ml bottle is lasting me a long while yet. I am now eyeing up eagerly the vanilla sugar, cupcake and coconut fragrances: this could get expensive!! ;).

Have any of you ever tried Body Fantasies before? If so, what's your favourite sweet body spray or fragrance right now? Let me know below please!

xoxo
