30 Day Snap Day #21: Old Southampton

Today I had to go to Southampton and it's actually my nearest city and very near me so I'm there quite a bit for you know, big city kind of things!! Visually it's not my favourite place at all but the city gates always fascinate me and how much they stand out from the newer architecture. I love how in your face they are and  it's a reminder how many, many years ago that spot would have been. Do I have any local Southampton girls reading this blog post now?

What did you all get up to today? I'd love to see in photo form if you're also doing Louise's 30 day snap project.

xoxo

  1. I'm a local, Fareham gal! Agree with you about Southampton not being the most visually interesting place out there, but there are parts which are lovely. I love some of the bits towards the Itchen bridge/dock area... Some of that is stunning.

  4. Oh my, I miss my pretty little Southampton SO much. This was one of my favourite parts of the city, although I also love being by the Itchen bridge, the Common and there's a little walkway by the docks that my housemates and I used to wander over at after dinner most evenings. xx
