Walk London’s Windy Streets….

IMG_1291IMG_1339IMG_1357Hi, hi, hi! I feel like I haven’t done a ‘life update’ post for a while. Okay, so actually that sounds a little misleading because I’m not going to suddenly launch into personal blogger mode, but I haven’t really been a very pro-active blogger and I just thought you might be wondering what I am up to and why I haven’t been around! Well I promise you it has been with good intentions that I’ve been a little slack because I have been working my little socks off creating my Autumn/Winter range for my shop.

The above photos are from a photo shoot I did in late August by of course London’s infamous House’s of Parliament. I wanted to go for a 1960s style shoot for my knitted headbands as I just thought it was so much more exciting than just simply placing the headbands on, snap, and so on! The 1960s was a key trend this A/W2012 season, and with it being 50 years since the release of the Beatles’ ‘Love Me Do’ it all seemed kind of fitting! So, I took styling inspiration from Twiggy for my gorgeous model Stephanie (Carley, the make up artist for the shoot, did such an incredible job of the make up!) and then I let Hanna work her magic! London was the perfect location as it has been such a symbol for this year in general of all things to do with sports, arts and culture.

You can shop the whole knitted headbands on my main shop right here and a selection will be up on my Etsy tonight so do feel free to shop around and let me know what you think. I tried to include every colour of the rainbow for this collection although I am sure I have missed something out, so do let me know any requests! They are only £9 so that I thought with £20 you can treat yourself to two headbands, and get £1 change for whatever else your heart desires!

This is only a fraction of my products for the new season, and I just hope you love it as much as I have creating it all. I’ll be back very soon with my usual posts, so I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend and I will ‘speak’ to you all soon! ♥

xoxo
