Dahlia A/W 2012 Look Book

You all know I adore Dahlia so, so much so when I was emailed the latest look book for this Autumn/Winter season I very much looked forward to sharing all the images with you. This season Dahlia are embracing the vintage vibe that is so synonymous with their brand, and the location for the shoot was taken in a retro looking house, which resembles a traditional British home in the 70s.  This is why I love Dahlia so much because not only are the pieces styled in such gorgeous photo shoots, but they just seem so real and wearable for every day.The pieces are described by Dahlia as so:

‘This collection brings together an array of on-trend pieces including Baroque, Military, Retro, Winter Florals, Studs and laser cuts all with the Dahlia signature stamp.

Owners, designers and sisters Tracey and Leigh have had a lot of fun searching far and wide for vintage fabrics, unexpected embellishments, custom collars and quirky finishes.’

I’ve selected some of my favourite pieces which will join my ever growing wish list! In particular I love the 'Daphne' brocade pleated dress, which is perfect for this season’s Baroque look, the ‘Alicia’ laser cut leather look skirt which I adore, and I’ve tried it on in store already and ahhh, love it, love it. I’ve been looking for a skirt just like this so I’m going to save some pennies for it. I’m also loving the ‘Miriam’ the faux fur collar double breasted coat, because I’m really into 60s’ style coats as they seem to suit me well as I do like the whole Twiggy kind of look! Last but not least the last image, the navy eyelet dress is divine, and I love the way it has been styled with the big statement chunky knit scarf.

Basically I want everything, so I’m now wondering if I am alone! Do make me feel better about my ridiculous wish list wants and tell me what takes your fancy as well! Have you started a bit of autumn/winter shopping, or are you not fussed about the stuff this year? I own so much Dahlia stuff and I couldn’t recommend it more if you want a nice few staple pieces to see you from now until next Spring. Get browsing here.
