Bank Holiday Treats

010011014What a funny old day today has been! This weekend I have been mostly crafting away, working on the second instalment of my new Spring/Summer collection for my shop, but as my Mum had to return something in Primark I tagged along for the ride to a trip to town. Unfortunately I haven’t been looking after myself today and my low blood pressure started to kick in big time so I felt really awful on the way but after a tons and tons of water, and a long time sitting in our local gardens, (which to be honest would make anyone feel better pretty quickly), I was able to take my mind off things with some pretties!

I never, ever do hauls so this is a massively unexpected and rare post from me but I was feeling a bit rubbish and it all looked so pretty together. I got three shoes from New Look which I am in love with, and some gorgeous shell earrings as the sea life trend is my absolute favourite this season. I didn’t see anything in Primark I liked really, actually I saw my bag again, which I love, but  I found these cute little earring mix near the checkout and I loved their pretty vintage esque edge. I then picked up an Essie polish which is my first Essie purchase ever. The lovely Cover Girl is always raving about Essie so this purchase was totally influenced by her, but I wanted to wait until I could see the whole shades in front of me as I’m not an online purchaser by choice. So what should any girl get for their first Essie polish? Well I thought the infamous ‘Mint Candy Apple’ was a good place to start! My local town has improved SO much for beauty lately I cannot even begin to explain, okay, briefly I will! We have always had a MAC, but we also now have a Laura Mercier counter, whole Urban Decay stand, and Benefit Boutique as well. To be honest, I have no need for too many London trips nowadays!

So there you go, my bank holiday treats! Oh, and I got Teen Vogue because I know I’m not a teen blah, blah, blah but for a little Monday nostalgia it’s okay, right? Anyway, tell me how you spent your weekend or bank holiday if you had the day off. Oh and I’m having a little bank holiday sale at my shop, simply enter MAYDAY12 at checkout. And if like me you are a huge Sugarhill Boutique fan you can also get 20% off until tonight with their code MAYDAY.

xoxo

    1. You know what I think I agree. I do think Teen Vogue was much better 5 years ago but I still love to read it every so often.

  5. awww thanks for your comments on my blog and for finding the links for the shoes. I thought the black ones were flat ha ha not heeled. Silly me x

I wish they had the ones with the bows in the nude pink as I am not as keen on the coral.

The yellow ones are gorgeous too

    Thanks x

    1. Ahhh yeah sure they are heeled! Yeah I much prefer the nude to the coral, I guess they've sold out online but there were plenty in store.
