A Taste Of South Africa

014015018022008
So earlier today my Mum and Dad returned from their little adventure to South Africa. It seems that they have had such a wonderful time, and I was so shocked that they, well, okay, my Mum (!), picked some things up along the way that she thought I would like. My Mum always, always does lovely stuff like this, she’s so thoughtful. Now I haven’t been to South Africa myself so I wasn’t sure what really ‘symbolises’ it as a whole, but my Mum said that pretty much anything animal esque! Africa is the heart of some of the most beautiful species on earth, so as a result everything is linked in that sense. I adore the necklace with some of Africa’s most infamous creatures, and just look at those Ostrich feathers! My Mum says that they shed them all over the place, and she thought I would like the selection of gorgeous hand dyed rainbow shades. I am so, so excited to get crafty with these! And yes, she found some bunny earrings for me…you all know the obsession so I won’t start! haha.

Another thing that is commonly associated with South Africa are of course diamonds. I was horrified when I thought for a second my Mum said she found something from a diamond store for me, but she assured me she wasn’t that extravagant, and just picked up this super sweet and delicate butterfly Swarovski necklace which I adore. So pretty!

Everything else is beauty related, which includes copious samples of gorgeous creams, gels and what not, some handmade soap, and some jojoba oil. This latter excites me way too much, I adore jojoba oil!

So yes that’s everything. So lovely and so unexpected! To end this post I just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you and kiss to every single one of you for all the lovely comments and messages about my new website. I launched it on Monday and the response has overwhelmed me, I’m so pleased you all like it!  Don’t forget the code NEWHOME for 20% off, which will end soon. In other news, I have neglected comments, emails etc terribly and I am so sorry. I will be getting on all of this once everything calms down a bit. Hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend!

xoxo
