REVIEW: Montagne Jeunesse De Clog Pores Deep Cleansing Nose Pore Strips

018016014012aFirst off a huge apology for the hideous last photo but I always think it’s important in review posts to illustrate said products! Today I am reviewing some nose pore strips from one of my favourite skin care brands Montagne Jeunesse. I was kindly offered the chance to review their new Skin Heroes line but before this I have always been a fan, and their White Chocolate masque is a favourite of mine.

The new Skin Heroes collection is an amalgamation of a whole host of different ingredients packed into face masks that suit every skin need from oily t-zones, to dryness to blemishes. Now I’ve always suffered with lace pores for some reason, however what’s very out of character for me is that I’ve never tried to tackle them. I’ve tried the infamous Biore pore strips but the results were a little meh for me, so I kind of tarnished pore strips with the idea they were just silly novelty products. Well, after trying the above I am happy to admit that I am now a pore strip fan. I fear by saying that I come across like a bit of a ‘but you were sent it therefore you must love it’ sell out but oh no, absolutely not! I was honestly convinced these would also be a total let down but my goodness, when you remove them, it’s kind of disgusting how well these work! I’m sure you all know how pore strips work, but let’s just say they illustrate how dirty pores can be! I was shocked and my pore size was reduced considerably.

So I then started to wonder why they worked so well, and I have to say I put it down to the amazingly, natural highly powerful ingredients Montagne Jeunesse pack in their products. These ultra-deep cleansing nose pore strips contain natural citrus orange to draw out deep-rooted impurities for cleaner, less visible pores on and around the nose, and this was definitely the case for me. Furthermore, they contain Kaolin, a well known product for drawing out impurities. Each pack costs a barganicious £1.49 and for that price you get three sachets which is far too generous! You simply open the sachet, peel the strip from the plastic and apply to a wet nose. You then let it sit for 10-15 mins and it’s like paper mache or something in that it dries onto the skin.

This gets a massive thumbs up from me! More people need to know about Montagne Jeunesse products. They are bursting with natural ingredients, eco-friendly AND bunny friendly, and to be honestly I think it’s the powerhouse of natural beauties that made this work for me. My skin hates synthetic ingredients and I really think. I plan to use these as much as possible to maintain the effect and before face masks etc. For more information on this product, as well as stockist information, click here.

So what are your thoughts on nose pore strips?

  5. I am thinking i might give these a go….if i am honest, i am very green when it comes to skincare and a self confessed lush nut, but i have tried this makes facemasks before and they made my skin smart and feel really tight and awful after :( Is your skin sensitive? As i have never considered mine to be particularly so but i wasnt to keen on this brand on a first try. Maybe i just chose the wrong products tho xxx

    1. I'm a LUSH nut when it comes to skincare too, but to be honest I find these perfectly fine for my ultra sensitive skin but I do always check the back and don't buy ones that are too much about blemishes/oily skin etc as I know that will probably aggravate my skin.
