Current Hair Care Routine- On Trial!

I went to a huge Boots this morning which I always love because you get the best of everything, although I was upset the Dainty Doll range isn’t in store yet. Anyway, I occasionally get emails about my hair care routine and I tend to reply to individual questions and leave it at that, because I honestly feel that I never ever have a typical routine I stick to. When it comes to hair care products I like to mix and match and switch it up when I finish something. I feel like my hair likes it too! There are certain products, like my Essential Ultra Honey & Shea Butter Deep Conditioner that I can never see myself straying from (but I just hate how unaccessible it is!) but shampoo and conditioner it’s fun to try new brands.

So I blogged about my new shampoo in my June favourites and it’s the marshmallow and coconut (YUM!) colour care shampoo by Happy Hair Days that I absolutely love right now. Now I know my hair isn’t coloured, but I don’t like how my naturally red hair changes throughout the seasons, and I would love for it to be dark auburn all through the summer instead of getting annoying golden highlights! Sounds nice, but not on me!

But then everything else pictured above is totally new to me, and I’m very excited to try them out and let you know my thoughts. I have tried the Organix range before, their Nourishing Coconut Milk Rapid Repair Treatment is amazing and that reminds me that I must re-buy now I have no Essential conditioner left. It’s a great dupe. Anyway, because I had tried the range before, I was tempted to try something else but the only thing I don’t like about the range is that to me there is too much choice, and it seems to me some things sound exactly the same! I was torn between the Moroccan argan oil, or this keratin one and only made my decision of the keratin conditioner because it smells like chocolate! Anyway I am excited see how it works.

Lastly, there was a buy one get one free offer on Naked hair care so I got the heat defence spray, which I have been meaning to try for ages, and my freebie, the volume mousse. I know I have a lot of hair but it’s actually quite fine so I’m hoping this does the trick. I’ve shamefully never tried a mousse because I didn’t get on with them, but I like that this is natural and has no silicones which is important to me. I actually really like Naked hair care but I really don’t get on with the shampoos. They just never ever rinse out of my hair for some reason!

Anyway I will see how I get on with the above and let you all know, if you would like ;). What is your current hair care routine?

xoxo

  8. After reading this and your other post about the essential ultra honey & shea butter deep conditishoner I decided to invest in some! I think it'll be great to use after I've dyed my hair and hopefully make it not so weak and limp. Also I always used to use the Organix range from boots, try the pomigranit one it's amazing and leaves hair mega shiny! xo
