Hello my lovelies, I’m back from my little blogging break! Did you miss me? ;). I certainly missed blogging. In case you didn’t read my last post, I had to take a little break because I had 4 huge essays totalling about 14,000 words yesterday, so to say things were stressful is a bit of an understatement! Anyway, back to blogging with full force!

I have had the 3 new nail effect nail polishes for ages now but I’ve been so busy with said essays that I haven’t even used them yet. So, in the spirit of Eurovision I decided to use the white and blue shade to do a UK inspired nail look! Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out so well, so I’m just going to show you the blue shade called ‘Blue Print’. If you’ve seen my original post on the ‘Black Magic’ the first one, you will know I liked it, but I preferred the 17 crackle top coat a lot better. And to be honest from trying this, I still do! This didn’t really work for me. The polish was too thick and gloopy, but nowhere near as bad as the white one, but I’ll talk about that another time. But otherwise it was okay, but I just prefer the crackles of the 17 one, and also the consistency. I guess I shouldn’t have put it over the top of a white nail art pen, and instead used a white polish. I think I will put a white nail polish on my next Boots or Superdrug shopping list!

But see how the effect is a bit…clumpy? Just not quite as defined as I wanted, but with that being said, these are good fun, and I thought I should sport Blue, for Blue representing the UK and all!

Have you tried the latest nail effects offering from Barry M? If so, let me know what you think. Click here to check them out on the Barry M website.

  3. I find i only need a small amount on the Brush with this to make sure it doesn't go blobby and paint it on really thin. I've never tried the 17 version but have tried the OPI Black Shatter and i LOVED that one (pity i can't afford it most of the time haha)

Your nails look pretty though! xoxo
