REVIEW: Sleek ‘avoir la peche’ Collection Paraguaya i-divine Eyeshadow Palette

002

I feel like Sleek haven’t done a palette in forever, but then I remembered they released the primer palette not long ago, but for some reason I swatched it and was disappointed by the lack of pigmentation. So sensibly, I left it and then eagerly awaited the next release, and here it is, a palette full of beautiful peaches, pinks and neutrals. It’s pretty much going to be a go-to-palette for Spring, and I’m excited that there’s a peachy blush and lip colour also released in this collection.

Now you all know what a Sleek palette looks like of course, it’s as sleek as it’s name suggests, and I think the cover art for the sleeve is so simple and stunning. Peachy blossom flowers which go over the front and at the back, and look at that little pink insert colour. Pretty!

So now onto the colours. I love how Sleek now name their shades, it certainly makes it easier for referencing purposes, and it gives the shades a little more life, although I’m not trying to personify an eyeshadow here, don’t worry!

As expected it’s a collection of beautiful peachy tones, and colours that blend in nicely to this theme. So for example you have lovely classic peaches, like Persimmon, mixed with pretty baby pinks like Blush, to a mix of the two in Peach Gold, perfect crease colours in Bittersweet and Stone, and then shiny metallics like Bellini. Here are some close ups:

And finally some lovely swatches, as you can see above. The top row of swatches are all of the top row in the palette, which are L to R: Parfait, Blush, Cameo, Persian Orange, Peach Gold and Sandstone. And bottom row of the palette L to R: Bellini, Redstone, Persimmon, Tangelo, Bittersweet and Stone.

I really love this palette. Like always the shades are super pigmented and gorgeously creamy. I can’t wait to try some looks with it! I can’t promise I will get time to post any looks, but I will of course try! What do you think of this palette? Or did you skip? I’d love to know.

xoxo

  1. I bought it because I love peaches and oranges - the blush is awesome too! I haven't really got round to doing anything that amazing with it yet because I'm working on another blog project but I reallllly want to do a lovely bright look with it! Also pleased they didn't bung another black in!

  2. Haha Oh my goodness, I am SO with you on the black eyeshadow thing! Due to my colouring I never ever wear black eyeshadow, so literally all my Sleek shadows are worn down, apart from the blacks!

  7. Some of the colours are really pretty but i'm put off buying it because I KNOW I'd never wear like the bright oranges and pinks etc, and they seem to be the most pigmented xx
