NOTD: Nails Inc ‘Porchester Place’ Nail Polish

072

As you know (in fact you’re probably bored of hearing about it!) I went to the LOOK show last Friday, and since my post, I’ve been asked a lot about what was in our goody bags. Well, I’m not sure it would make an interesting post…you know, like literally typing out every item? I don’t know, is it truly uncool to do a ‘goody bag haul’? haha, I don’t know it seems weird to me, but anyway, I am going to feature one item we all got and maybe leave it at that. Now last year Nubar were one of the companies associated with the LOOK show, and you all know that I adore this range probably more than any other, so I was disappointed to not see them this year. In the goody bag this year everyone got ‘Porchester Place’ by Nails Inc, a gorgeous bright orange, perfect for Spring/Summer 2011 and bang on trend.

I kind of failed at getting some good photos because I applied it last night and had a busy day today, so I thought if I don’t take photos this morning before I left for Uni, it would be chipped the next day! But anyway I do like this shade a lot. I’ve never actually worn a proper full on orange shade before. Well it’s described as being more coral, but for me comes out very pure orange in tone. I’m not a huge Nails Inc fan, I find them hard to apply but this was actually fine, although definitely needed two coats.

Here’s a close up…

Above is the polish being applied backstage at the LOOK show last Friday. So how do you feel about wearing bright orange shades? Do you like this? And are you a Nails Inc fan?

@ Jennifer- definitely will, it's summer in a bottle :).

@ Vanity- Fashionista- definitely, bright orange is everywhere this season. The brighter, the better!

    @ Miss EBlog- I know, isn't it? :)

@ Laura- yeah it's a gorgeous colour. I normally don't get on with Nails Inc formulas, but this is lovely.

@ ellieand- oh it definitely is! :)

@ The Style Rawr- thanks for visiting! And yes, summer needs to come quick now!

  11. I wore a shimmery coral orange I got at Clothes Show London all of the summer before last!

As far as liking Nails Inc, I do like their polishes, but I think for what they are they are seriously over priced; Models Own are half the price at only £5 and I think Models Own is a much longer lasting better quality of polish!

  12. @ Rachel- I totally agree with you. It's a shame they're about £10 because like you say Models Own etc are equally good.
