REVIEW: Origins Breast Cancer Peace of Mind® On-the-Spot relief

093

You may not have heard of this product before but it’s actually one of Origin’s best-sellers, and one that I included in my latest October favourites post. Peace of Mind draws uniquely on Origin’s natural heritage by obtaining inspiration from Mother Nature and validation from science. Launched in 1990, it sits at the top of Origin’s best-seller lists thanks to the powerful de-stressing properties in the key ingredients of Basil, Eucalyptus and Peppermint that help to produce calm feelings. This trio of nature’s peace-keeping oils initiate a rapid relaxation response to help you switch off and forget all your worries for a while. Normally packaged in a mint green bottle, a special pink bottle and box has been created especially for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation - £2 from the sale of every special edition pink Peace of Mind® On-the-Spot relief during the month of October will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

HOW TO USE:

When the world closes in on you and your head feels a size too small, apply just two dabs of Origins mind-clearing formula and massage into the back of your neck, temples (closer to the hairline than to eyes) and earlobes. You'll feel a tingling sensation as pressure, tension and tightness begin to feel as if they melt away.  Take a deep breath to experience Peace of Mind®'s stress relieving aromas.

I really enjoy using this product and it really does leave you feeling so relaxed. I love using it before I go to bed and it’s great before a big test, interview, or whatever other stresses life may bring! The smell is very minty and the tingly sensation makes you feel gorgeous. You can get yourself one of these for £11, which I don’t think is too bad a price, and it’s amazing to be able to buy something for such a worthy cause. For any more info click here. Have you ever tried this before, or any similar de-stressing product? If so, did it work for you?

  1. I haven't used this before, but I use Lavender oil a lot, especially when going to bed. It really does help me relax and I love to drink chamomile tea too.
