REVIEW: Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Rapid Repair Treatment

I'm always on the search for a great hair conditioner, because I'm all about looking after my hair! You may know from some previous posts that I'm actually trying to grow out my hair, and I've been looking into getting extensions. Well, before I take that plunge, I thought I would invest a little bit more time into my actual haircare regimen.

Over the years I have tried a LOT of hair care brands, but out of all of them, I'd say Aussie is my favourite, what's more, it's cheap! I absolutely adore the 3-Minute Miracle Conditioner, but I'm not so in love with Aussie's shampoos. I've noticed a new brand over the last few months in Boots called 'Organix' and was instantly intrigued, as I become disheartened when I try and find a new drugstore haircare brand as 80% is full of chemicals, and mostly tested on animals. This brand seemed really different to me with its slogan, 'indulge your hair the way nature intended.' That sounds good to me! I thought I'd start with the deep conditioner, as I can always spot a great brand from its conditioner! Here's what it promises to do:
'Organix Coconut Milk Instant Repair Treatment is a totally indulgent unique blend of organic weightless coconut oil, silk and keratin proteins formulated to repair and prevent the effects of damage due to biological, environmental and mechanical aging while restoring vibrance and bounce'

So above is the product when it's opened. I have to say it smells AMAZING!!! I mean, I'm a huge fan of coconut, but I can't stand synthetic coconut, because it gives me a headache. This is totally different. This is the true scent of coconuts and I just know from smelling it that it's real coconuts that have gone into this. You can always tell the smell apart because true coconut oil has this gorgeous musky scent to it. They recommend that you use this product everyday (which I won't do as I don't think it's necessary) and apply it from roots to tips for 3-5 minutes with a shower cap and hot towel around it. I only used a handful, and followed the exact instructions and here's how I got on!

BEFORE- So I would say my hair is dry and a little frizzy but not overly so. Here's what it looked like before. This is near enough my actual hair colour, but it's got deeper red tones. You can see it's a little bit dry. AFTER- Now here's what it looked like afterwards! And I know what you're thinking- why is my hair colour so different to before? Well not that it matters to the actual product but this photo was taken in bad lighting and so has been washed out by my flash! It's not really pale at all! But anyway, like I said, doesn't matter to the product, but you can see how shiny it looks now, and less frizzy too!
So maybe those photos don't really show this product up very well but overall I LOVE it. It's honestly the most amazing hair product I've ever tried. My hair seriously feels like silk and it's so easy to brush through. Just love, I don't know what else to say! I got this product in Salisbury's for £5.98 which isn't as cheap as Aussie, but to me it provides a slightly better result, but Aussie is just as amazing don't get me wrong.

I've just googled the brand and I think they're American, as they sell at Walmarts etc. They have a ton of different scents on the site, from Vanilla to Pomegranate, so there's truly something for every hair type. I've got a ton more things I want from the Coconut range, and I love the companies ethics a ridiculous amount. Great to see! So has anyone else tried the brand? I believe there's a 1/3 discount at Boots which is worth checking out. Let me know your favourite haircare range below, I'm obsessed ;). Oh and here is the website: http://www.organixhair.com/index.asp.
