NOTD: China Glaze 'Good Witch?' Nail Polish

I'm starting to think I'm writing a Nail Blog lately...but in truth I seemed to have acquired a lot of nail polishes recently and have forgotten to do some NOTDs, so here today is a very belated post about this unbelievably gorgeous shade from China Glaze. As I've said many, many times before, I am a huge China Glaze fan. I'm equally in love with them as I am OPI and Nubar...don't make me choose ;). But anyway this shade 'Good Witch?' is from the Wizard of Oz collection, which many of you will know for being the collection that gave us the most (arguably) classic polish of all time 'Ruby Pumps'.

This shade couldn't be more different from 'Ruby Pumps' (a glittery red) as it's a very soft rosy pink with glitter flecks. So yes, the name is very appropriate because it's quite a 'safe' shade but the glitter makes it a little more risky! I absolutely love it. I tend not to wear much pink shades like this anymore but this is so nice because of the shimmery glitter that isn't huge chunks, but more like a pretty shimmer. I don't like it as much as 'Ruby Pumps' but it's still a fabulous colour in its own way. I think you could wear this everyday and it wouldn't look over the top. The only thing I didn't like is that I had to use 3 coats because it's so translucent otherwise...I have this problem with ALL pale pinks though. Here's some close ups so you can see the glitter better:

So do you own this colour or others from the Wizard of Oz collection? I want to try them all! Oh and in case you're wondering where I got this shade from, I picked it up on Ebay for only about £5 inc P&P.

  2. Get Seche Vite, you'll find you wear nail polish a lot more because dries SO quickly! I didn't wear as much nail polish as I did before I got this because I hated waiting around for it to dry!
