Make Up Shopping in London

The beauty community on Youtube these days maybe quite samey recently, but there are some true gems on there, I could name at least 50! One of my favourite Youtubers is without doubt the lovely Richie Nickel of what Style Is To Nickel. He's just so British, cute, and his style is so fierce. Richie mostly focuses on reviews and a few tutorials, but just recently he uploaded a super useful video on the best make up hang outs in London. This video will be so valuable to all UK'ers but also to you make up addicts from across the pond to reference to if you ever decide to visit!

So here is a list of all the stores that Richie mentioned in his video:

So have you visited all of the above? Is there anywhere else in London or the UK you think is worth going to that hasn't been mentioned? For me personally, if you go to Superdrug then you should also check out Boots as some have brands such as Urban Decay. I also think there are some brands just off Covent Garden like Pout that are worth a visit, as well as a few quirky make up boutiques in Carnaby Street.

Let me know what you think of the above places!

  1. Such a helpful post because Mr Lollipop and I are hoping to go to London for my birthday in 3 weeks! Whoop!! Thanks so much for this, I'll have to remember to check back before we go xx

  2. Love Richie Nickel, definitely one of my favourite Youtubers! Saw this video earlier and he recommended some great places to go!

  3. thanks for posting! i'm actually visiting London right now and figuring where to find MU to shop besides superdrug and boots!

    thanks :)

  4. @ Lollipop- oooh good timing then! I'll remind you on your blog ;). You'll love beauty shopping in London, there are fantastic must have locations everywhere.

@ Kelly- I love him too! He's just got that special something!

@ Jennifer- yay, glad it can be some help to you! Hope you're enjoying you're time in London, thanks for stopping by here!

  5. The MAC pro shop is one of the best stores I've been too, great selection of products and really helpful assistants. I keep meaning to check out Inglots but never seem to get round to it even though its so close to my flat! x

  6. @ Peonies&Lilies- you live near Westfield?! Omg HUGE amount of envy, I don't live near anywhere that cool or exciting! haha. Oh I totally agree with you about the PRO store. It's such a special shop. I mean generally the SAs are fantastic, I've only ever met one or two who were a bit meh. In fact, one of my most favourites SAs works at MAC Pro :).

  7. Oh lovely, especially for tourists, like me.

I feel I should add the Boots in Piccadilly Circus, though. It has a nice selection of high-end brands, with a huge stock for UD! Got my BOS II there in October. Plus the staff are amazingly nice there!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I love to hear what you all think and I try and get back to everyone :) xoxo
